I remember listening to Dr. Yasir Qadhi's seerah series some time ago and feeling this same sense of love and awe of the Prophet's person. And now you've revived those feelings with this post, in such a beautiful way🙂
What amazes me about the Prophet (PBUH) is the kind of relationship he had with Allah in the dead of the night that allowed him to stay strong and resistant throughout everything the world threw at him. I believe this is one of the key ways of exemplifying his Sunnah.
I actually realized this after witnessing the Palestinians' response to their situation and realized that they too, are an embodiment of the Prophet (PBUH)!
May we all strive to achieve this relationship with Allah and become an embodiment of His miracles (the Quran & Sunnah).
Loved reading this. Thank you for writing this article. It’s made me want to get to know our Prophet even more. Can you recommend a book about Prophet Muhammad SAW? I’ve read the Seerah. Is there any other book you recommend?
JazakiAllah khair for your comments and feedback. As for seerah books, one of the most popular ones is Ar-Raheeq Al-Makhtum (The Sealed Nectar): Biography of the Prophet Ar-Raheeq Al-Makhtum (The Sealed Nectar): by Sheikh Safi-ur-Rahman al-Mubarkpuri
There is also "The Life of the Prophet Muhammad (saw) - As Seerah An Nabawiyya by Ibn Kathir. I have heard good things about it but have not read it myself.
There are many others too but don't know of their quality. Hope this helps!
You should also definitely try reading/listening to Dr.Yasir Qadhi's seerah series. He analyzes and explains it from a modern worldview so it becomes more of a 'lifestyle' than just some 'story' of the Prophet (if this makes sense😅).
Very well captured and elaborated on the salient qualities of our beloved prophet ( sallulaho alaihee wasullum). We all need to assess our relationship with him and how we are moulding our lives with what he gave to us or not ?
Wow! The final thought was thought provoking (no pun intended😅) because truly if it wasn’t for the price he paid for message he spread we wouldn’t even have a chance of getting into Jannah or even be able to go through life’s struggles.
